4000 charging problems

I have a 62 ford 4000 with a new battery, wiring, voltage regulater, and had the gen rebuilt 4 days ago, my charge light went off. Went on a tractor ride yesterday and now when you give it gas the light comes back on.. Any help?

After just replacing everything and taking it for a ride, I would suggest going through and checking all the connections.
Could be as simple as one jiggled loose.

Is the belt howling? I'd bet it's slipping. Check the tension and see what happens...
If it is slipping you want to get that taken care of because water pump function will also be very limited with a loose belt.

I went back and checked the belt, it was tight, and all the connections. Still the same

check the gen itself by removing field wire and jumping bat to field, see if gen makes full power at battery.. if not, also jumper cutout.

if gen is working good, look at vreg
