4010 air cleaner

I have a 4010 diesel with the original oil bath air cleaner. I've taken the air cleaner off the tractor and would like to know if there is someway to clean the screens up in the main body of the air cleaner. I've cleaned the bottom part that fits above the oil, but I noticed that the cannister seems to be full of metal mesh......does this come out?

Metal mesh isn't readily removable. Soaking in solvent or vatting would be the only way I can think of to get mesh clean.

I looked it over and thought everything looked spot-welded in there. I was just trying to get everything clean before re-assembly. I used gasoline and compressed air to get it a little cleaner than it was.

I've cleaned alot of oil baths with soap and a hot water pressure washer.

Should be a couple thumb screws to loosen. I've had the screens out of the canister to clean. Usually soak with gasoline or diesel fuel.
