4010 Front pump

Hi all
I have 4010 Wheatland with a leak at the pump shaft. as i understand it the front end must be removed so the pump can be removed. i was wonder where the best place to unhook the Steering linkage would be?? also can some please kinda walk me through this .
thank you all

Unhook the steering linkage at the steering motor via the bolts that are in there.

I haven't done one in 25 years, so memory is a little foggy. Four bolts as I recall??

Had to do many out in the field.

make sure you have good supports under the tractor , i have done a few pumps , and the seal kit is not that hard to install, with a clean pump and room to line up all the pieces as you disassemble it , i usually take the pump subframe off at the engine and take it outas one piece , make sure and watch cafully on disassemble as the older pumps have more pieces to the inlet valves than the newer pumps
