4010 Hydraulic Issue

Having an issue with a 4010. All Hydraulics and power steering worked fine. After cleaning screen, changing the filter and putting oil back into it, the power steering is having trouble. It works, but struggles going in one direction. When you turn it the other direction, the pump makes a loud whining noise. Also, the 3 point arms raise up slowly, unless you turn the steering wheel in one direction at the same time, then it raises right up. Where do we start?

Due to your stating 3 pt raises fine when steering wheel is being turned indicates steering valve body has large internal leak which hordes front hyd pump hyd output. Sounds as if steering valve will need to have the valves in it adjusted with a micrometer or possibly have foreign material blocking valves seating area. I suggest to check hyd stand-by pressure which should be 2250-2350 psi. Steering valve adjustment requires a special plate. Tim S a long time member of YT could be a person that could adjust your tractors steering valves.
