I had my injection pump rebuilt on a 4010 I’ve had 12 years but hasn’t really been used, should I remove the injectors while it’s apart to have them checked or rebuilt if needed ?

If an original cylinder head then it will have the old style Bendix injectors which will not be cheap but it would be a good idea to get them serviced.

Yes it has the large older Bendix injectors and its an early one built in 1960

They are expensive enough(as is the stupid steel line that’s not available above them it was 700 bucks for the one a guy wanted a new line) I’d lean to seeing what happens. I’d consider dynoing it around here they charge 100 bucks at the dealer to get it checked. Or enter it in this summers antique pull and get it checked for free at the track before the pull.

Sitting will be tougher on the pump

Once fuel has been squeezed through they usually get to working if they were worn out it was likely before she sat
