4020 air filter problems

'67 diesel 4020 powershift with dry type air filter. I believe it is a Donaldson. The rubber cup that fits into the metal bottom has crumbled due to age, and I need a replacement. My parts manual says it is a R 39828 dust cup baffle.
JD online shows that part number to be an isolator and it is $93. I suppose that a baffle and an isolator is the same thing, but I cannot find any pictures online to verify. Does anyone know the Donaldson part number? Online, they are about half the JD price, but there are quite a few of different ones available and I cannot find any dimensions or specs.
Thanks

Your rubber-cup is the R39828 isolator; as they call it.. John Deere dealer wants $97.81 for a piece of rubber; to much.. See if you can do better on Ebay?? Just make sure it crosses to the John Deere part number R39828 and you should be OK??

Thanks, but I've had no luck on ebay or anywhere else. If I had the Donaldson part number, I think I would be able to find it pretty easily, and I've seen them as low as $14 on the internet.

Have you tried talking to a Donaldson dealer? They might have parts breakdowns of different housings with dimensions and filter numbers, that the public can't access on the web.

There is no part number on that rubber. I recently changed a 4020 to a dry air cleaner for a customer and the one he bought came without it. Parts yard said they did not have any so I ordered a new one. I put the off my 4020 in to get him going and ended up with the new one in my 4020. Just came in from checking it for you and no part numbers. If you do figure out which aftermarket one please post about it. Tom

thanks for looking for me. I didn't see any numbers on mine either. I'm going to take some measurements and see if I can talk to one of the parts houses here in Houston and see what they can do.

Here's one on ebay for $16
