4020 brought $31,000!

There was a farm sale today in the Lima, Ohio area that included a well kept 1972 one owner J.D. 4020 with about 2,400 hours. According to a farmer I talked to who'd been there, it sold for $31,000 and left a lot of them shaking their heads.

Sounds to me that there was more dollars than sense at that auction!

sounds to me like a few people had more money then brains there. yeah low hours...BUT STILL! i won't pay 31,000 for a 4020! id take the money and buy like a 4840! some people. wish all my equipment was made of gold. (sigh)

Reports say that everything there brought a fortune.Most say that it was one of the cleanest lines of machinery that they have ever seen.
