How do you get those round snap rings to go over the rubber that goes in between injectors and return line?

They do make special pliers for those and they are the easiest to work with. However, if you can't find these you can take a regular pair of pliers and drill a hole straight into the end of them, and also in the side if you think you need to. Now you have a special pair of pliers that will work just fine. It's just a little tedious to do but it's been done. Mike

It is next to impossible to get them with a standard pliers, save yourself a headache and buy some special pliers. I have a set from my dad.

The pliers you need are a common tool for most any aircraft mechanic. They cost about $15. Google: Aircraft Spruce & Specialty which is one source. buck

Those snap ring pliers are handy, but I didn't have a pair when I replaced mine. I used standard fencing pliers. It was a pain, but they will go on there with them. You just have to get the end of the wires against the teeth of the pliers just right and squeeze tight and hold it. They do slip off, but persistence will pay off. Although, I suggest buying the $15 snap ring pliers to save you a lot of time.

i am with the first guy. throw them in the weeds and use hose clamps. if you dont have the tool you will have pinched fingers and bloody knuckles.

I assume that you're aware that the top snap ring can be installed in place before sticking the return line in; the return line will slide right in.
