4020 paint color

I’m having my 1967 4020 repainted. I did a search on YT to find the correct color for this tractor. Some owners are happy with Classic Green and some are happy with John Deere Ag Green. Someone said that the color change between Classic Green and Ag Green was between the 4x30 and 4x40 series. If this is accurate a 4020 would have been painted using John Deere Classic from the factory. Am I correct?

I have used classic green and like it too but last time I went to our local John Deere store for some paint my favorite parts guy said to try a rattle can (all I wanted) of what I think was just John Deere green or Ag green and it was perfect.

This loader is the ag green

I thought that I learned that classic green was the color applied to the old two cylinder tractors.....the ag green started with the 4010, 3010, etc.....1961.

Main thing is don't use anything but John Deere paint. Valspar and others have a better price but you won't be happy in the longrun....cause the offbrands tint off to a bluish tint after any time in the sun. Actual John Deere green keeps its green just like new. That's why John Deere won't share their recipe with anyone.
