4020 power shift value

What would a 4020 diesel 66 model be worth for salvage, it hasn?t run in about 4 years has power shift transmission owner was mowing with it and it quit running he thinks fuel problem, hood is junk and fenders good, I would like to think I can get it running but in case I can?t I could get my money back, front end is good and I have a 2520 that could use one, will in interchange? It had single hyd valve rear weights also thanks again

Good wide fronts sell for $8-1200 and good fenders can bring 500. I am going to say the complete tractor is worth $2500-3500. If the owner says the powershift is good and the engine turns over you might add a little more. Tom

If front is JD and good they bring $1K fenders if good with brackets and lights $500+ if hood isn't nice and doesnt run then value drops pretty fast.I was told salvage yard prices are very low. I would keep the easiest to sell parts like front end and fenders and call places like Worthington and Colfax tractor and get a bid.I bought a complete running 4840JD with bad power shift and matched salvage bid was $4K
