4020 powershift value

My uncle is looking at getting rid of his 68 4020 powershift. It has a 148 loader with 4 tine grapple, Cozy cab with heater, John Deere joystick with grapple control, 3pt with a John Deere cat 2/3 fast hitch. Tires are decent, loader is good with no welds or leaks. It has 1k hours on an overhaul and powershift rebuild. PTO brake is bad and the hydraulic pump drive needs some attention. What kind of an offer should I be looking at??

I would say depends on if you could do the work or have to hire it done. If it's just the coupler that is making noise than that isn't too expensive. The PTO brake will be the big ticket item, parts aren't bad but the labor involved will get spendy.

My guess anywhere from 9k-11k in my area. Hard to get any tighter than that without looking at it firsthand.

148 loader with grapple $3500 Cat II/III quick coupler $400 Cozy cab unless fenders are still there -$500 PTO brake [ dont understand why if P.S. and motor were rebuilt 1000 hours ago why wasn't addressed][ minimum -$2000] front hydraulic pump if only coupler not a big deal.Without seeing it the unit would be around $12K complete minus $2500+ for repairs.Tractors with problems usually have more problems.I just did a appraisal on one close to same deal only motor was ran low on oil ,no joystick or grapple, below average $5000 and it went to salvage.$2K for loader $3K for tractor

Consider pto brake has broken pin and brake spun ruining housing......
What's that worth?
