My 1964 JD diesel still has factory size tires...7.50x16 on front and 15.5x38 on back. I plan to put new 16.9x38 on the back and either 9.00x16 or 10.00x16 on the front. I don't want the front to sit higher than the back. I prefer as level as possible. What are others running on their 4020's? Thanks!

I have a loader on my 2520 with 15.5-38 on back and 1100-16 on the front.

Diameter of 7.5-16 is 31.5 inches
Diameter of 11l-16 is 31.5 inches
Diameter of 1100-16 is 38 inches

A 1100-16 would raise the front of your tractor roughly 3 inches.

And going from a 15.5-38 to a 16.9-38 would raise the rear roughly 4 inches.

I think I would go with the 1100-16 tires!
