How hard is it to install a new water pump on a 1964 4020 duesel

It's doable, but easier with the radiator out. If that radiator has not been out for a while it would be a good idea to pull it and clean it. It's always amazing how much crud there is in one after removing it.

I think I removed the fan blade and left the radiator. Getting the fan shroud out was tricky. Then you have the room you need.

If leaving the radiator in place, put cardboard between the fan and the radiator once shroud is loose.
