The fuel guage started fluctuating from 1/2 to full. It has !/2 tank of fuel.Advice on repair.

Check all connections for tightness.

Strong chance the sender is worn out,, they do a lot of surging around over time,, if you remove the sender wire at the tank and ground it you can prove your gauge.
