Hello all. I have a quick question(s) on this JD A I have had since the early 70's (serial # 510816). Not sure when or where she was built or delivered (would love to know) But... does anyone know what carb was orig. on this tractor. It has a 53 on it, should it have a 71? Just curious. Thanks, Pete. P.S. Where would i go to get her authenticated if there was such a word.

The 53 is the correct carb for an all fuel A. The 71 is for the late styled gasoline A.
