Transmission is out. Quite a job for one person, but with enough jacks, cribbing, patience and time (5 hours AFTER the final drives were off...) it can be done.

Putting it back after fixing it may be another story...

Is that a weld running around that reverser housing? I've seen those pop apart when a roller bearing lets go and gets a roller between the gears.
 
Don't think so, but didn't look that closely.

I did get 4 or 5 rollers out of the trans drain, and I know it has at least one grenaded bearing, so it's possible.

Gonna start tearing the trans apart later this morning.
