420W axle wobble

Hi, I have a new to me 420W that has a lot of wobble or play in the front axle. When I jack it up the front axle moves around allot where the front bushing and bolt goes through. I thought a new busing might take care of it but after further investigating it seems that the bushing itself is not worn that bad but maybe the front part in the casting is bigger. Has any one had this problem and what did you do to fix it or could it be somewhere else that I need to be looking. Thanks in advance

pretty common,you can take it to a machine shop and get it line bored and bushings made.Is the axle casting broken,if not I'd get it done before something does crack and then thats more money

Thanks Larry, The housing has been cracked and welded back years ago. I was thinking of making a step like bushing? Don"t know if that would work. Your suggestion sounds better.
