420w hydraulics leaking badly

I have a 1956 420W that I have owned since 1998; engine and driveline are strong, and I've re-done clutch, brakes, radiator, and some of the hydraulic seals.

'Other chapters of life' resulted it it sitting for about 5 years outdoors until this past fall.

I've revived it without difficulty and it runs well- but it's leaking tremendous amounts of hydraulic fluid from down low or under the Dual Touch-O-Matic. Seems to be on the right side somewhere around or under/ behind the control levers. I'm used to it leaking around the rockshafts, but this is lower down and more severe and will drain the hydraulics low enough that things won't function- and after a refill, and in about another 3-4 weeks, it's too low to function again.

Any suggestions of what may be going on, or what to check- or try- without having to take off and disassemble the whole huge/ heavy Touch-O-Matic?

Can you clen things up and look for leaks on the lever side of the tom. Like the control levers, check valves etc?

It's sub-zero here and I do not have any heated workspace, so would need to wait for a warm spell.

Wondering if there are any "common" things that could explain what I have going on. It really didn't leak anywhere but the rockshafts before it sat.

There are oil seals around the control shafts. Mine are leaking too. Just haven't had time to fix. My 420 has sat idle so long the clutch won't release. Gonna do a complete resto one of these days.

Thanks Timar- that makes sense. Puzzled why they leak so much worse now than 5-6 years ago, but I guess that old seals will do such things, and it"ll be good if it is just those control shaft seals. Just looked at the diagrams in the parts book and it makes sense. I had the Touch-O-Matic apart once to do some other seals, but I don"t think that I did those, Maybe come warmer weather I should yank the whole unit and do those and the rockshaft seals.
