424 decision to make

My old 424 gas burner runs good and I use it to bush hog in rough places . I have a " better " 584 diesel I use for heavier farm work. My issue is the hydraulic pump is getting quite weak on the 424. I successfully replaced the seal that was allowing hydraulic oil into the crankcase a few months ago and did solve that problem. I am now faced with the decision of whether to buy a $600 pump to go on a $1500 dollar tractor . Pump part is 368633 R 92 . Does anyone know of a cheaper , more reasonably priced pump which would work ? The pump for the diesel is about half the cost of the gas burner but will not fit to my knowledge .
