4240 Fuel filter change

I need someone to walk me through changing the fuel filter on my 4240. I only have a manual for a 4440 and it is not the same. Is there a fuel shut off valve under the tank somewhere like the 4440 has? Only way I see to prime it is the little lift pump that runs off the cam? Is this right? Trying to make this as painless as possible so that I'm not dealing with a bunch of air in the lines. Thanks.

When I change the fuel filter on my 4255 I never cut the fuel off. I just un-clamp old fuel filter, remove & install new filter & clamp. Then loosen bleed screw at the top side of filter base then on 4240 pump lever on lift pump until air free fuel comes out bleeder then tighten bleeder & start engine

It took all of a minute to change and no issues with trapped air. Not sure if the filter was bad, no water in the fuel but it was old, been on there the three years I've had it. Old filter had the older JD logo on it.

I pull a 9' NH 617 disc mower with this tractor and lately it started having a brief hesitation when coming out of a turn in the corners. I hope this was the issue. Thank You Tx Jim.
