4240 light question

Have 4240 and 750 drill. The drill has lights which consist of 2 yellow and one red. When moving the yellows are suppose to flash and stopped the red is suppose to flash. It works about 50% of the time correctly. Going down the road the yellows will flash and the the red.

What controls to determine when the tractor is moving? I assume it is in the tractor as I cannot find any device on the drill.

Thanks

Tim

I am not sure how that works ?? Maybe a brake light switch on the tractor or surge brake on the hitch??

Have you seen this system before? It worked pretty well up to this year.

The plugs were already installed on both the tractor and drill when we bought them and tickled they were the same plugs and worked when connected.

My JD rd baler lights flash weird if the light plugin on rear of tractor isn't making a good ground connection. IIRC 4240 built for N American sales has no brake light switch from the factory
