On my new to me 4240 the rockshaft console lever does not respond properly, lever positions are between 0-9 but the rockshaft only responds beetween the 0-4 position this is with the draft controll in minimum position with draft control in max position rockshaft response is just 0-2.
I have tried adjusting the lever according to my aftermarket tech manual with out much luck, but i am confused by the instructions pertaining to " rockshaft controll lever rod adjustment" the book says "rockshaft should start to raise when the front edge of console lever is aligned with the "1' on the console guide" isnt this backwards shouldnt it start to raise at 9,8 or 7?
