Lost the power to tach, radio, gauges, wipers and air. Still had the running lights and cigarette lighter. Shut the tractor off now will not start. Any help is appreciated.

Have you checked/cleaned ALL battery cable connections? If battery cables connections aren't the problem then remove cowling on LH lower cowl in frt of dash. You will see a board which relays & fuses attach to. One of the relays furnishes power to top of cab but I can't remember which one.

Several possibilities. Loose connection(s), bad relay, blown fuse/fuses are some. You may have a plug together harness connector loose or with corrosion in it. Follow the harnesses and check the bulkhead to find the connectors. Try unplugging, check for corrosion and plug them back together and see if it gets the systems back.

The Operator's manual should have some info on the fuses and relays. If you don't have one go to: https://techpubs.deere.com/en-US/Search/Equipment . You can download a free copy of the JD manual from there. You will need your serial number to get the right one.

I checked the grounds, fuses and relays along with connections when I was done with the tractor yesterday. Just cant come up with anything. Im missing something somewhere. Thanks for the replies.

I agree with Jim that you need to check for good continuity at harness connections circled in green color. Did you check volts at starter relay under the hood next to firewall?

I wonder if battery cables are corroded inside of insulation?

It turned out to be the key switch fuse was blown. That makes sense why the runnings lights still worked. Thanks for all the replies.

I realize that this is an old post, however, I'm having the same issue. Could you tell me where that fuse on the ignition switch is located?
