how hard is it to change the hyd pump in a case 430-441.I was using it to cut hay with no problams but when finished on the way out of the fiald the lift when to the ground and will not come back up thanks for helpimg

The pump is under the cover directly in back of hte engine. Hood, fuel tank, lines, all have to be removed. Have you checked the fluid level?

thanks ,i did check the fluid level and it was fine, this tractor also has extra hyd remotes so thay would have to be removed also is that wright ?

You will need to remove the hoses from the valves to the rear remote couplers, but the valves themselves should not need to be removed. The valves can remain attached to the torque tube cover plate as you lift that plate to get to the pump. - Joe

Good question. I've never had to replace a pump. Someone else here can probably better answer that question. Good luck - Joe

Parts book shows a breakdown, but don't know if the parts are still available. The housings are aluminum & usually take a beating.

well got out there and removed the mower and the lift arms will come up with no load and i noticed when the lift leaver is all the way up the pump makes a loud whineing sound but if u move itdown just a littel it stops is this normal?is the dip stick in front of the seat the only place to ad fluids thanks everyone trying to learn the older tractors
