430 drag link??

Need some info. I have a 430 with a swep back axle and a worn out drag link or tie rod. Of course it is the outside one and I am getting the impression that there isn't a replacement available?

Yes. From what I am gathering the Swept Back Axle is different than the rest. As far as I can tell no one makes a replacement.

I am guessing I am going to have to modify something, maybe take my old one and have someone weld an end on the existing shaft maybe.

I got a Carquest counterguy to let me "browse" his parts bin of front end parts. I found a "perfect" match for the threaded end on my 40U - think it was a Jeep part.
