The hood on the 430 series has a brace tie-bar that attaches mid-way, between the fuel tank and engine. Do one of you have the measurement of this piece? I believe I could make one if I knew the dimensions. Thank you

It would be safe to assume 20?inches length for the bracket,And I would make the length of the bracket 18 inches sheet metal to sheet-metal.Mine is missing also. A piece of flat bar 1/8 inch thick by five eights wide. Bend each and leaving a 1 inch tab. Of course it?s easier to drill the holes first, before bending. Hope this helpsCMMy email is open

I have one here Patrick for sale and it is exactly 18''long by 1/2'' wide before the curve where the bolts on each end hook to hood . jc
