Has anyone successfully taken apart a tach? If yes, how did you do it? I have one in tractor that looks great but there is no pointer or indicator?? Do not see how it could possibly get out of housing. Can a person get a new pointer and put in? I do see the face has 2 small screws holding face plate in position which makes me wonder. Most others are held in place by 2 rivets. Any help appreciated. Thanks

Thanks. I will give Jerry a call. I was just checking to see if anyone had tackled one themselves. I bought a replacement thru an advertiser but it had a very poor face plate, much worse than in there.
