4320 hard to start

Doing a little research and found that a dealer had added a 4430 head to his 4320 engine, to make it start easier.
Is this correct?

TIA!!!

Seems a little crazy.

I'm told 4320's didn't start all that great when equipped as manufactured, but mine starts at 10 degrees without any issue. It's been overhauled about 15 years ago with newer pistons, etc.

If I had 4320 and it was hard to start, and was willing to pull the head ,I would rebuild original head and drop in hyper kit. better higher compression pistons

I have had several and basically same with 30 series. Many have been O.H. and higher compression pistons made them start much better.I prefer them to be plugged in as a few have been damaged due to improper use of the either injection.Changing head shouldnt make much difference if in good condition. There were several 69/72 3020/4020s that were cold blooded and many tried to different things with pump timing etc. but didnt change much. I know of tractors that were bought buy same family one serial number apart one started fine other didnt.
