Does any one have a 4320 parts tractor or happen to have a 4320 fuel tank laying around. I am in need of one for a preservation of a nice original 4320. Thanks in advance.

I have had some re-sealed, it has worked well. You may consider that route, as the next used tank might be not much better than yours.

Have somebody who knows what they are doing weld it. Have had two of mine done now, everything from pin holes and cracks to a break in the main seam. I can tell you that 4320 tanks are impossible to find. Guys at Rantoul were coming up to me asking me me that question. I know a guy that customizes 4320s and even he has a hard time finding good ones. So you are not the only one chasing after those tanks.

We found one I think. If not a welder said he could fix the one we have. 45 years of Oklahoma red dirt packed around the front of it took its toll and rusted pin holes in it.

Another reason for keeping tractors clean. All the tanks that I've had with pin holes and cracks, I didn't even realize it. But the bad spots really show up after you sandblast them. You don't even realize the paint is covering them up but the fuel will seep thru and the marks are very distinctive. So I never re-do a tractor without removing the tank and having it blasted and also putting in new rubber or foam under the tank too.

This one is going to get all cleaned up and the fixed or replacement tank installed on new canvas straps. Every thing will be left original though because its going in a collection as a well preserved original.
