I have a coolant leak from around the head gasket . I took it apart and it looks A1 . Where do I go from here ?

Recent replacement or has it been in service a while? If been in a while I would check it for flatness and if it is good replace it an go on. Warm it up and retorque. I like to use Copper Coat sealant. However, if the gasket manufacturer has specific requirements to not use sealer I follow their recommendation. If it was a recent replacement, did you do a hot retorque as suggested above?

Sometimes just retorquing the head fasteners while the engine is warm will stop such a leak.

But the knee-jerk reaction of newbies seems to be to tear things apart and only THEN ask for advice! LOL!
