435 diesel hydraulics

Hello everyone, we recently took off all the old hydraulic lines since everyone of them were dry rotted. Forgot to take a picture of where what went. Does any one have a picture or schematic of these? Pretty sure of most of them, but fired everything up and 3pt won't lift and steering is locked in one direction. Not sure if this is air bound and if so how to bleed. We have a manual coming but need this tractor running to ted fields next week. Thanks to all who help.

Free parts book online at JD . Which manual did you order ?

Not sure which manual father in-law ordered. Here are a couple pictures of what we got. Something is not hooked up right I'm thinking.

Apparently I can't post pictures.

Not always, but in many cases new users have to have 5 or more posts on record before the site lets them post pictures (or links), due to site spam filters. Another option is to go down to the Site Comments Forum and ask YT Support for permission to post prior to that. You can try going down to the Test Forum and making several posts there to get your post count up, trying to attach your pictures to each post. That may work after you make several posts. Then make your post here again. It may not work immediately after you get past the 5 posts, if not, you might try logging out and back in at that point. There is a size limit as well, I think it is a total of 7mb per post (be it one picture or the total of several). Some pictures (often taken with phones), are too large and have to be reduced before they will post.

Thanks for the help. Lets see if this works.

I would imagine that after I figure out what hose goes where, the system would need to be bled? Not sure how to go about that?

It doesn't look like the right pump for a tractor with PS. Should have two pressure ports on the pump. Also there seems like an extra valve on the right side of the tractor under the
PS control valve. Can't really tell what's wrong but JD didn't built it that way.

I do not have a 435 to look at only your write up and pictures.
Looking at the top picture and the 4 lines that are connected up to what looks like a pressure relief valve the top 2 hoses run up to the steering control valve. With the T and street elbow they are connected to both are connected up to the same port. This doesnt seem right. The 3rd hose runs over to the pump and appears to be a return line. I think the 3rd hose should be connected up to the T or street elbow and one of the top 2 hoses should be where the 3rd hose is now. You would need to determine which hose from the control valve is the return line
