4400 loader control valve stack

Good evening,

Bottom line upfront (BLUF); I want a third function on my loader with a power beyond for rear remotes.

I own a 1965 Ford 4400 with 735 loader a 3 stack valve.
Valve 1: lift arms
Valve 2: compensating Valve for float
Valve 3: bucket

Any ideas are acceptable, if you where spending my money, what would you do and why?

Here's what I know, finding an additional valve to add the stack is going to be harder. I have a pump that is a gear (not vane) GPM approximately 19-21 gpm. The current valve body doesn't come with a power beyond sleeve.

Other questions I have, if I remove the factory float and compensating valve (along with associated plumbing), can I slap in a monoblock valve body with a float and call it a day?

See pics for reference.

Thanks for your suggestions and help,
Neil

I would leave the sectional valve exactly as is and slap one of these on the loader frame. Plumb it into the supply line ahead of the loader valve and put the pushbutton grip on your loader control handle. No power beyind needed

EDIT: I think I misunderstood what you meant by 3rd function. If all you want is a valve for rear remotes use simething like this and feed the loader with the PB port. Tee the tank port into the loader return line. I would also use a 2 or 3 spool valve for more than one set of outlets.

Much appreciated on the advice, i appreciate it. I am looking more at your second option. That appears to meet my needs a little better. I'll reply with my final solution.

I did find out the valve stack is a gresen and its no longer supported.

When I first read your post the phrase "3rd function for my loader" led me astray. In modern vernacular that typically means adding a third function to the loader for something like a grapple. The first kit I linked is for that application.

For rear remotes which is what I think you want all you need is another directional control valve. The new valve is simply inserted into the main hydraulic circuit and can be placed anywhere on the tractor. That valve would be plumbed AHEAD of the loader valve and should be configured for high pressure carry over ( power beyond). As long as the Gresen valve is the last valve in the chain it does not need to be configured for power beyond.
