4430 and axle/wheel casting

I have access to a set of R49860 wheel castings which are 38" from an 8430. I have 34" castinsg on a 4430 and would like to switch. Problem is I have the small axle on 4430. Any way to make this work for a reasonable amount of money??

Will the "half sleeves" (axle "wedges") from your current wheel castings swap in the castings you want to use?

No they are too small.

4430's came with either 86MM axles or 92MM axles; Half sleeves are available to put R49860 wheels on 92MM axles.... Might be more economical to put special 38" drop center rims on your 34" cast wheels....
