4430 torque output

hi , we all know about hp levels of various tractors.Is there a site which give torque outputs as well.
if not ,what would a JD 4430 do torque wise

I use external_link to answer my curiousity. Although I checked for the 4430 and there is no torque data listed. Great site. I hope everybody knows about it.

Hmmm, I hope you are able to find what you are looking for, but it looks like you have to click on "Publications" and then you are going to have to "order" a report on the tractor that you want the information about...

Kinda sucky, but that's what happens when we went "global" with "free-trade". It used to be that Nebraska Tests were the standard that every manufacturer (and nearly everyone for that matter) was going by... But it appears that those days are long gone.

Now it's Nebraska testing for only those that want to participate, and the majority of info is only available if you want to pay for it.

Bummer - I mean really, who ever really want's to pay for it?

Use some simple math. HP= torque X rpm / 5252

Heh, heh... yeah, that too! (Man, I've been outta college for way too long.) I couldn't remember that equation to save my life, until you just "refreshed" my memory B&D!

Of course the answer that you get will be "theoretical", but it will be close enough. There's still nothing better than "actual" test numbers.
