4430 Transmission Type

Hey guys, not very knowledgeable on these tractors. What is the transmission type with this pattern.

Did they do a decal change at some point? The one I had used one time, had instructions under the left stick that referenced the clutch.
 
Yes. Synchro was available. Dad got a new 4430 synchro in fall of 1974. Factory had installed a shift cam for a quad tractor. In other words 1-3 and so on were swapped and so on
I never drove it at dealer so can't tell you if any reverse was available. The dealer changed out shift cam. Probably had the best adjusted synchro linkage possible after top notch mechanic set it up. This tractor had perma clutch but parts book we had indicates dry clutch was available for early 30 series.

No dry clutch was offered on a 30 series Rowcrop tractor with QR/SR trans only Perma-clutch EXCEPT for the damper clutch on tractors with a Powershift trans
