4440 head gasket

My 4440 is seeping a little antifreeze near the front of the head gasket. It does not look like its out of the water pump, but the head. The tractor has 6,300 hours on it, and I'm pretty sure its never been touched. I bought it with 4,900 hours from the original owner. Does this mean new head gasket? And what else should be looked at, or done while there given the hours on the tractor? I will try to attach pictures. Thanks.

There is also a plate on the front of the head that has a gasket as well. The water pump has to come off to access it. If we are nice Tx. Jim will post the parts catalog image for it.

Not uncommon for them to leak but as others mentioned you should clean up and be sure.
Really no need to be concerned about those hours depending upon how it's been treated.
You should secure the cylinders with short bolts and washers as you will have to roll the engine over to clean and dry upper pistons and liners.
Water, oil and some debris will run in as you remove head. Pay attention for any scoring as you do this.

I had forgotten about that plate.
