4440 wedge beater pipe

I have a 4440 with the larger diameter axles and the heavy cast centers. I need to move the frozen wheels out. I used to have a wedge beater pipe for my 4640 that I made. It’s gone and I need to make one for this 4440. Does anyone know the pipe size I need? Looks like schedule 80 4” is 4.5” OD. Will 4.5”OD fit inside the cast center to contact the wedge?

It wouldbe much easier to answer same question in metric system. Pipe 114mm 10thick fits over the 92mm axle.

I don't use that method,, I remove the 3 outer bolts.maybe leave 2 or 3 threads in,,remove the pinion cog pin,, loosen or remove the 3 inner bolts if you can get to them,,then using a floor jack and the correct length 2x6 on it for a platform set a 20 ton jack between the load shaft pin area on the hitch and the wheel casting jack pressure against the casting then smack the end of the axle as hard as you can,,this works constantly,,I get some tuff ones in here,,

I have one for the 4020, and after seeing it work so well I got one for the 4630 too. With the outer bolts pushing and a couple good smacks with the sledge the centers are ready to move!
