4450 Bhi and Clo

had to rebuild c1/c2 and Bhi and Clo. Trying to get the Bhi/Clo back in the tractor and can't get the gears to mesh with the planetary behind it. I have that timed per the manual, but tried 3 times before my helper had to leave.

any tricks or tips??

we had it out a few years ago when we rebuilt the rear ps pack, and it went together on the 1st try. Quit for the night as I was getting frustrated.

I installed one yesterday in a 4850. It took a little time and fiddling. Try installing the C1 and C2 shafts to help align everything. With the shafts you can also turn the planetary gears to help with alignment. I also install 2 long bolts through the housing to keep it close to the right position while trying to align the gears.
