#45 jd loader finally installed

Over a year ago I bought a #45 loader for my jd 70 on ebay from "Kruggiemonster". I finally got it on my tractor and can't see how I lived without it. I did so much "lifting" with jacks and blocks that took hours to do. Now I feel like a kid with a new toy.

I have had one on a 60 for about 4years and I dont know how I lived without it. Dont tell the safety patrol but I move roll hay with mine. I take it very easy and keep the loader very low to the ground. I just used it to manuever the back end of a 180 massey ferguson I put a transmission in. It is very handy even for the age.

Rusty,

Have I got a deal for you... Was thinking about your comment about a loader tractor being worth it's weight in gold. I've got a very handy JD 2640 with a 146 loader. It sure is nice to have around. Figure with weights and loader it weighs over 7,500 lbs. That is 120,000 ounces. Gold is going for aprox $700 per ounce. That makes the tractor worth $84,000,000.

I know you farmall guys may want a discount on a green tractor. So I'll sell it to you for 10 cents on the dollar ;>)

Yep, I figured someone would do the math, and I'll admit that 84 million is a bit much for a tractor and loader even if it IS green, but just think of all the doctor and hospital bills you will NOT have because you used the machine to lift and carry instead of tearing up your shoulders, knees, and back.

I really do appreciate your more than generous offer to sell your tractor, but I'll have to pass on it. It is just plain too new.

that would be the ideal loader tractor, tractor is low and can be adjusted to be wide enough to be extreemly stable, and is new enough to still be able to get parts for, and it is very manueverable.
