450 1rst gear pull

I was wondering if a stock farmall 450 would have power enough to pull 7500# stock first gear class with the t/a in high . sled has a 3ft chain on it I just purchased one and have never seen one pull around here before.

If the hitch is at 18" high or less it should pull 1st high or 2nd low.

Here in this area a farm stock Farmalls with a TA can tork once.

Didn't say what size tires. Maybe if you put a 560 first gear in it that wasn't out of a high speed first and reverse 560, or a 560 ring and pinion. But probably better to spend money for more power.

My 400 will pull 8500 with 15.5 tires in high first. Rebuilt Eng to stock with propane intake. Stock head and Carb. They are different to balance. Don't watch an m because they are nine inches shorter and lighter. Your heavy on front end in comparison. Just hook up and let it eat!

It has 15.5-38's on it. But plan on putting 14.9's on it this winter.
