450 w/ 4.25 pistons

pilled the head off my 450 today, pushed the pistons out of the block, i thought they were M & W, until i seen them they were stamped with AP-79, who manufatured these pistons? heres some pictures.

M&W sold them. If they installed the sleeves with the set the block is bored. AP, add power.

he is correct I have a set of m&w pistons with a similar number on them in my stock m block with the 4 inch piston and sleeve kit

Does your crankshaft say M&W Gear on it?

Our 450 has an M+W crank and pistons in it.If the number is 179 instead of 79,that would indicate a stroker piston with the relocated wristpin,IIRC.
