I have a 4500 without pto. Is it big project to install pto or am I better off getting rid of it? Thanks

The easiest and probably cheapest way would be to replace from the flywheel back - which is not a hard job.

If has 4x4 power reversing trans there is no way to install pto. If 6x4 manual reversing trans it can be done if has pto shifter hsg on rear of trans. I sold the 6x4 I had but have a 3400 with 6x4 with pto that may work. 6x4 is trans pto, not live or independent.

Not trying to spoil a sale for you Shawn.
Putting your 3400 trans/axle in his tractor would give him the pto he's looking for but I would not trade the wet disc 4000 brakes for the dry drum 3000 brakes for love or money.
