I've just bought a '73 450B. I already own a Case 530 and there's a fellow in Rochester, NY named John Saeli who is the source for old Case parts. Is there an equivalent to John when it comes to old J-D's?

PartsASAP, YT's parent company, is into construction equipment parts now, I think I have seen info to that affect.

Lavoy Wilcox can provide somethings, however I think the 450B Is getting towards the new side of things for him, so I can't say what he stocks. Usually getting the part numbers from the parts catalog and using those to search will find a lot of things. Here is a link to the 450B parts catalog, if you don't have it. The 450B parts catalog does not include blade, loaders, winches, etc. You need to ID the attachment and use the parts catalog for the attachment you have. Machines after the 450B included some of the common attachments in the parts catalogs.

It might help to know what parts you are thinking you will need.

I don't know that you will find anyone for your 450B like John Saeli is for older Case machines.

Lavoy Wilcox (jdcrawlers.com) is more into the JD 440 crawlers and earlier ones. He does have/can get some parts for the newer ones as well.

MacFadden and Sons Inc. in Sharon Springs New York has some JD parts.

Using the part number from the parts catalog in a web search turns up several possibilities. You may only find used ones or convert it to a newer style one.
