Anybody use a 4520-4720 w 400x loader? I have several farm tractors, so I have some idea of what I like and dont like. Currently use a 5425 w loader for yard tractor that works well. I would like a 50hp loader tractor to leave at the cottage as its too far to haul back and forth. Only used for light loader work, landscape, snowblower, etc. Any thoughts?

I'm a salesman at a dealer and we have sold a much of these. No real issues with them and everyone seems to like them. I have never really worked one but have driven them around the lot. Where are you located?

When I worked for Deere we sold a lot of these. Most were to little weekend horse people. Some went to landscapers. Didn't have many to come back for anything that I'm aware of. What transmission are you wanting? If you are just wanting a standard tractor I'm not sure what the price differance is but you could look at a 5003 series or whatever it is that took their place. Like a 51 or 5203 with a 512 loader. Just a thought.

Southern Ont Ca, I have looked at the 5 E models but look too stripped down. Thought those little 20 series looked like a good choice for my needs. Thanks for replies going to try one before I decide.

I have a 4720 with a 400x loader, very handy tractor. I use it to plow snow, flail mower, York rake, 6" chipper. I use for small landscape jobs an at home.
