46 A compression

I looked at a 46 "A" with average paint, new 12.4x38 Titans, rebuilt mag, gears seem o.k. clutch also. Compression 70 psi both cylinders. Is this low? I thought it should be closer to 100. Any one have an answer, I would appreciate it. Guy is asking $2600, good or bad? Thanks

think that is ok for a 46 a cant recall what the spec for it is a late a cyclone series is supposed to be 105 or 110 price sounds fair not a steal but not too much either

46?? Is it a long hood "A"? Or a hand cranker?

Its a long hood model. Is 70 psi acceptable compression?

I always thought 65 was good on an all fuel and 90-110 on a gas only?

If it's a long hood then make sure it has all the sheet metal that goes with the long hood especially the sheet metal ring that goes around the flywheel and the tube that goes to the generator. Also the hardware that goes at the bottom of the castiron dash.
