Junk yards are probably your best bet. What's the issue with the one you have? They are not the best knotters ever made but they can be made to work reasonably well. Replacing one with another one probably won't help you unless you are just looking for parts.
 
If it is just missing and not tying then pull the plunger and check the steel slides that the plunger slides on. If they are the slightest bit wore it will keep it from tying. They are welded on and not bolted, need to be cut off to replace.
