460 pto removal

I wanna remove the PTO from my 460 and wondered if all i have to do is pull it out and block the hole off or is there something else i have to do?

Nope, thats all you gotta do, make sure you get a shaft out too, about 2 feet long, (-/+) some. cut a piece out drill out holes silicon it up, and bolt it on, Good to go! hope this helps.

You need to leave just a stub end of the shaft sticking out with a variable speed 12V motor on the inside for RPM checks. Just kidding, LOL.

When you pull the shaft out, make sure you get its coupling too otherwise you got a pretty hefty piece of metal that will be floating around in the bottom of your tranny....
