4630 Fuel Injector Replacement

I'm swapping out the injectors in my early model 4630 (KDL "Y" style injectors) for some rebuilds. I have the wrench to remove the injectors, but I can't track down the reamer tool (JDE-99) to clean the nozzle seats. Does anyone have any tricks up their sleeves for accomplishing this without the tool? Anything else I should be aware of, or check when I pull them out? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I made one once out of a hard bolt that fit the hole nice,, cut the thread part off and carefully ground a cutting head into the end of the bolt, then filed it nice,, used the hex head of the bolt bolt to drive it,, I think it's still here some where ...if I find it I will post a pic..

I spray easy off oven cleaner in the holes to loosen up the carbon then use a wire brush like the ones used for cleaning inside of copper fittings. Seem to work for me. Also be sure the old sealing washers make it out.

Use a twisting motion with a gasket scraper about that size.

What ever you use it is important to have them clean..

Get a rotary brush that size and weld a rod on so it can reach the bottom with a drill .
