466 inline pump timing

The 466 engine with inline pumps have slotted mounting holes for pump timing, I loaned my book out and never saw it again and was wondering if someone could post/say timing direction for advance/retard. I believe I know but I want to be sure. thanks.

Some engines have the pump studs set in such a way the housing can't be shifted like a distributor, timing change can only be done at the drive gear bolt slots. Your pump turns clockwise, if housing is movable pushing injection lines TOWARD engine will RETART timing, pulling AWAY will ADVANCE timing. I'll bet you need to do any change at the gear, injection lines usually won't allow easy movement.
