47 m puller

Want to build a 47 M into a farmstock or div 2 t puller what are some budget minded things i could do abd be competitive?

If you want to be competitive in 2 T, it's not
cheap anymore. Need 100 HP or more to start.

There?s not exactly a ?cheap? way to do it. If you don?t have
anything currently invested in your motor I?d recommend
getting a 264 or 281 block, get it tested and bore it out to 4
3/8?. Add a 450 lp head, and have some cam and carb work
done. That should get you around 80 hp. Anything more you
would want to get it stroked and that can add up quickly.Half
inch stroke should get you enough to run 2T if you go that
route.

It appears to me that at 10,000 you need 200 HP

The tractor I pull in 3mph with 15.5
tires turns the dyno about 85hp.
Pulls 5500 through 6500 regularly and
have done 7500 with no power issues.
Hard , tight tracks and short chain.
M farmall would be similar weight
